Welcome to Busfronten
Are you interested in buses, then Busfronten is the choice for you. The club Busfronten (in English - The Bus Front) was founded in 1986 with the sole purpose to communicate information about (especially Danish) coach and bus service.

The website
On this website you can find out more about Busfronten - if you are able to read Danish. You can find some Danish buses in our picture gallery ("Billedgalleri"). The picture gallery is updated when members send us new pictures.

From our link page you will find links to other bus websites from all over the world.

The members
The club has about 180 members from around the world. The majority lives in Denmark.
The "typical" member is crazy with city buses, regional coaches, photos of buses, bus companies, history and transport authorities. A little fewer is interested ind bus lines, time tables, route maps and tourist coaches, while drawings of buses, special "art buses", tickets, model buses, mini buses and handicap buses aren't such a big interest.
Geograhical the members are most interested in Danish buses, but some are very interested in buses from other countries too. Our members average age is 39 years, and finally, the typical member is - not surprising - a man.

The magazine
The subjects are many: It can be the buses owned by a company, changing in the lines or oldtimer history - bus traffic is much more than one thing! The stories in the magazine are often very fact-oriented, which can help you to find out which buses are bought and sold out by the bus companies. The magazine is written by the members, so you have the opportunity to be heard either by writing small stories or longer articles - it just has to be in Danish!
Furthermore, there is a possibility for purchasing photos of buses and coaches.

The library, meetings and trips
Busfronten is more than a magazine. There are other advantages of being a member (but unfortunately they are most accesible for Danes).
Busfronten has a larger archive of bus magazines, domestic as well as international, of which the members can borrow from. Only cost is postage.
The club usually arranges 6 meetings every year in Valby (Copenhagen), where there usually are photoshows and lectures about buses. We usually have one "fieldtrip" each year to a bus factory, a bus company or the like.

How to become a member
Everybody can be a member of Busfronten, both private individuals, companies and organizations all over the world.
The annual subscription is currently 300 Danish Kroner (DKK) for members living in Denmark, and 350 Danish Kroner (DKK) for members living outside Denmark.
